 We Bought a Home in Florida! On December 21st, 2022, Ray and I signed the papers and obtained the key to our new home in Land O Lakes, Florida.  Our wonderful realtor found us this home a few months prior, and we instantly fell in love with it and the location.  The previous owner explained that she could wait until our finances were in order to purchase the home from her (she was her own realtor).  Knowing that she may change her mind if she received a good offer on the home from another buyer before we could submit our offer, we didn't stop looking for other potential homes to buy in the area.  Well as luck would have it, she didn't accept any other offers, so when we were ready to submit our offer, she accepted it.  We are so grateful everything worked out, so we could have this home.   When we left San Diego, we had our belongings in two PODS, that were kept in San Diego until we were ready to have them shipped and delivered to our new home address.
